Jack Pryor BSc MSc PhD

Ham Science was founded by Jack Pryor - a neuroscientist, entrepreneur and science communication specialist. After finishing a PhD in neuroscience Jack realised he was driven by a passion to work in science beyond academia. He has worked in the UK, the USA and Australia in legacy media, comms and marketing. He also co-founded a drug discovery & development contract research organisation. Now he is determined to bring a passion for entrepreneurship and communication back into academia.

In his career Jack has learned to blend his scientific knowledge with his communication experience. Creativity is always at the heart of his problem solving approach. Over the years Jack has collaborated with some of the best storytellers around the world. From award-winning scientists and digital strategists to writers, film makers and designers. He firmly believes that, just as translational research benefits from a multidisciplinary approach, so can an innovative approach to science communication.
